Scrap Metal Purchase Contract (Domestic)

Welcome to A.A.N. Japan Co., Ltd. (“AAN Japan”). These Terms apply to all sales of scrap metal (dismantled automobile carcasses) by customers to AAN Japan within Japan. By delivering Scrap Metal to our yards, you agree to these Terms.

You warrant that Scrap Metal originates from vehicles lawfully owned by you, all Japanese deregistration certificates are valid, VIN numbers match, and the metal is free from third-party claims or liens.

You must provide accurate identification and contact details as required by Japanese law. False or incomplete identification constitutes a material breach of these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining all licenses for industrial waste handling and dismantling. You must comply with the Automobile Recycling Law, Waste Management Act, and ordinances of Chiba Prefecture.

Scrap Metal must be transported without overloading or protruding beyond permissible dimensions. AAN Japan assumes no responsibility for accidents or fines arising from your transportation.

We do not accept: stolen vehicles, hearses, vehicles associated with crimes/fatalities, mismatched VINs, hazardous materials (oils, batteries, airbags), or burnt/fire-damaged vehicles.

If prohibited items are delivered, you are responsible for all costs and penalties. AAN Japan may refuse acceptance, return the scrap at your cost, or report the delivery to the police.

Acceptance is conditional upon document verification. Risk and title transfer to AAN Japan only after formal acceptance at our yard. Until then, all risk remains with you.

Pricing is based on weight and condition. A 35% deduction applies for plastic content/seats. Payments are made via bank transfer (no cash) twice per month or monthly. Bank fees are borne by you.

If you provide a valid Japan Consumption Tax Registration Number (T-Number), we add 10% tax. If not, no tax is added and you remain responsible for your own tax obligations.

You indemnify AAN Japan against all claims arising from your breach of law. Our maximum liability never exceeds the purchase price of the accepted Scrap Metal.

Complaints must be submitted via the Claims section in your account before posting negative feedback on any public platforms.

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version in your account dashboard. Continued sales constitute acceptance of new Terms.

Any dispute or claim will be adjudicated exclusively in the courts of Japan under the laws of Japan.

The parties wish for this Agreement to be drawn in English. In case of inconsistency with translations, the English version shall prevail.

These Terms constitute a Public Offer. By delivering Scrap Metal or transacting with us, you confirm your full acceptance of these Terms.
